Social Art Director

The Social Art Director at Mulbah is responsible for leading the execution of campaign production and translating it into high-performing social media content for 20 founder-led, positive impact consumer brands. This role blends production leadership, creative direction, editing, and social media planning. You will be responsible for guiding on-set execution, ensuring all content aligns with campaign intent, and transforming production assets into structured, high-quality social media systems that drive engagement and growth.

You will take responsibility for the full lifecycle of content—from production to publishing—and ensure that every piece of content is intentional, aligned, and delivered at a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who has the ability to think creatively while executing with precision, lead production environments confidently, and translate raw content into structured social media strategies. You should be someone who understands how content performs on social platforms, communicates clearly with teams and partners, and takes pride in delivering exceptional creative work.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for an initial duration of 6 months. You will be hired as a W-2 salaried employee of Mulbah, with the same level of commitment and integration as any other team member. At the end of the contract, there is the potential for the role to be extended or converted into an ongoing position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

Social Media Planner

  • Review the current campaign strategy, messaging, and objectives before planning the upcoming month of content.

  • Audit all available content assets from the production phase and determine which assets will be used for posts, reels, stories, graphics, or carousels.

  • Create graphics using Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Canva for the the social media feed.
  • Design a social media feed of 15 posts per Partner based on the Campaign.

  • Create caption concepts aligned with the brand voice, campaign messaging, and engagement goals.

  • Include hashtags, calls-to-action, and engagement prompts where appropriate.

  • Assign posting details including publish date, content format, asset reference, caption concept, platform, and CTA.

  • Link each content asset in the Social Media Planner directly to the corresponding Google Drive file.

  • Upload the completed Social Media Planner to the Partner’s Shared Drive and review it during the internal team meeting.

  • Schedule posts in Meta Business Suite exactly as outlined in the Social Media Planner.

  • Ensure image selection, cropping, and composition match the Planner references.

  • Copy captions exactly from the Planner including formatting, hashtags, and emojis.

  • Select posting times based on campaign context and performance insights.

  • Present Social Media Planner to team and Partners.

  • Creative content drives a 30% increase in follower count per partner, per quarter

  • Produce 15 Mulbah social posts per quarter showcasing partner success

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Art Director or Graphic Designer and Copywriter, especially for beauty, health, wellness, or food and beverage brands

  • Ability to translate campaign strategy into compelling visual and social content

  • Experience building and executing social media content plans and scheduling systems

  • Strong copywriting ability for captions, CTAs, and brand storytelling

  • Strong graphic design ability for beauty, health, wellness, or food and beverage brands
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva

  • Strong understanding of social media performance, trends, and platform best practices

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal teams and partners

  • High attention to detail and accountability for quality, consistency, and delivery timelines
